Pages iPad - Tạo 1 quyển eBook

Trong Pages trên iPad có khá nhiều templates để bạn tạo ra một quyển sách chuyên nghiệp theo chiều đứng và chiều ngang của hình chữ nhật

Thế nhưng template là những trang dựng sẵn với bìa, text và các trang canh lề chuẩn mà vẫn còn rất nhiều thứ cần thiết để bạn tạo nên một nội dung sách hoàn chỉnh

• Portrait orientation (sách đứng): thích hợp cho sách có nội dung hầu như là text như truyện, tiểu thuyết,.. (novels, reports, journals). Đây là template kiểu word-processing nên có thể nhóm các trang trong sections, chương. Người đọc có thể tăng giảm text tùy theo thiết bị hiển thị do nội dung chạy tự do trong các trang như trong các phần mềm soạn thảo văn bản.
• Landscape orientation (sách nằm) thích hợp cho sách có nhiều ảnh minh họa, text chia thành cột như Art book. Đây là templates theo kiểu page layout, nên chúng chịu ảnh hưởng của Pages Master như các phần mềm thiết kế.

Tạo trang mục lục: Cần sử dụng paragraph styles trong headings hoặc chapters để tạo table of contents

Tạo image gallery: Với kiểu hình ảnh tương tác kiểu slide show. Tap dấu "+"  > Image Gallery

Xuất sách ra định dạng EPUB

Tap 3 dấu chấm > Export > EPUB

• Title and Author: Enter the title and author you want viewers to see if you publish it.
• Cover: Use the first page of the document or choose an image file.
• Layout: For a word-processing document, you can choose “Fixed layout” to preserve the layout of the page, or Reflowable so readers can adjust the font size and style (which may change how much content is visible on each page). Page layout documents can use only a fixed layout.
• Advanced Options
  • Category and Language: Click Advanced Options, then assign a category for the EPUB document and indicate the language of the document.
  • View As: Click Advanced Options, then choose Single Page to show one page at a time, or Two Pages to show a two-page spread.
  • Use Table of Contents: Click Advanced Options, then choose Use Table of Contents if you want to include the table of contents you created.
  • Embed Fonts: Click Advanced Options, then select the checkbox to include TrueType and OpenType fonts in your EPUB document.
