Cần nói trước với bạn đọc là đây không phải là cách tạo menu trên file PDF tối ưu nhất, nhưng đây là cách mà mình thực hiện được sau nhiều lần thử đi thử lại những cách khác mà không thành công.
"Không thành công" không có nghĩa là phương cách đó có vấn đề, mà là do tác giả chưa làm chủ được Indesign, phần mềm chuyên về dàn trang của Adobe. Vì vậy các cách đó cũng sẽ được đề cập trong bài để hầu mong sau này tìm ra giải pháp.
Tạo menu trong master page
- Để menu xuất hiện đều hết các trang, bạn cần phải đặt menu trong master page
- Tuy nhiên khi truy cập từng trang thành viên, bạn sẽ không thấy menu, bởi chúng bị che mất do các thành phần trong master page luôn nằm dưới cùng, đặt biệt khi page thành viên có background. Muốn menu nằm trên, trong bảng lệnh layer, đặt menu vào một layer mới nằm trên layer hiện tại.
Lưu ý: Nếu thanh bar chặn phía dưới mà bạn đã cố tình đặt ở trên, nhưng khi xuất file PDF vẫn bị nằm dưới đó là PDF ưu tiên các button lên trên. Cách khắc phục là chuyển thanh bar thành button (mà k có vai trò j hết)
Tạo button hiện hành của mỗi trang
Để đánh dấu button ở vị trí trang của nó, ví dụ cả menu các button có màu đen, khi đến trang 3 button 3 sẽ có màu xanh, thì cần phải chỉnh riêng button đó trên page của nó bằng override Để chọn được đối tượng trên Master page từ trang thành viên, thay vì click bình thường, bạn nhấn giữ thêm nút ⇧ ⌘. Ví dụ ở trang 2, nhấn giữ ⇧ ⌘ click chọn button 2, rồi đổi nền nó thành màu xanh
Chuyển đổi shape thành button
- Object > Interactive > Convert To Button
- Hoặc click vào button dưới cạnh đáy bảng lệnh Button and Form
Click lên button nhảy đên các page trong file
Tạo bootmark cho các Pages thành viên để button liên kết đến
- Mở bảng lệnh Bookmark: Window > Interactive > Bootmarks
- Trong Pages panel: Dclick để chọn và mở Page đích (ví dụ page 2)
- Trong Bookmarks panel: Chọn add và đặt tên bookmark cho page (ví dụ p2)
Thiết lập liên kết cho các button trong Master page
- Mở trang Master để chọn các button trong menu. Click chọn button trên canvas
- Trong Buttons and Forms panel
- Chọn Event : On Click
- Trong Action, Click "+" : Go To Destination
- Trong Destination: p2 (là tên bookmark của trang 2)
Từ đây bạn có thể liên kết với bookmark ở file PDF khác, bằng cách chọn Document: "tên file" Có nhiều cách để một button link đến một page trong file PDF. Ví dụ như sử dụng Hyperlink để liên kết với page nhưng trong thực tế mình sử dụng chưa được.
Button thay đổi khi rê chuột lên, và trở lại trạng thái ban đầu khi rê chuột ra
Trong Buttons and Forms panel, Mục Appearance có 3 trạng thái button
- [Normal] Trạng thái bình thường
- [Rollover] Trạng thái khi rê chuột lên button. Bạn Dclick vào mục này và thay đổi màu sắc button, khi muốn trở lại thì Dclick và delete nút
- [Click] Trạng thái khi click chuột lên button. Bạn thiết lập trạng thái như trên
Ẩn hiện ảnh bằng cách rê chuột lên button
Để một ảnh tự động bật lên khi rê chuột lên một button. Ví dụ khi rê chuột lên btn1 trong menu sẽ xuất hiên hình ảnh cây viết chì, tên popup-btn. Thiết lập trong bảng lệnh Buttons and Forms (Window > Interactive > Buttons and Forms) Với button popup
- Convert to button
- Đặt tên cho button là popup1_btn
- Kiểm chọn Hidden until Triggerd
Với button trigger
- Convert to button nếu vẫn còn là hình shape
- Đặt tên cho button, ví dụ btn1
- Event: on Roll Over
- Click dấu "+", chọn Show/ Hide Buttons and Forms
- Visibility:
- Hiện: Click biểu tượng trước popup1_btn cho thành con mắt (hiện)
- Ẩn: Click biểu tượng trước các nút popup khác (popup2_btn, popup3_btn) cho thành con mắt có dấu gạch chéo (ẩn)
- Không liên quan: Dấu gạch chéo
- Thiết lập rê chuột ra ngoài nút thì chọn Event: on Roll Off, các thao tác khác tương tự như trên
Event types
Events determine how actions are activated in buttons when the document is exported to EPUB, PDF, or SWF. (In Acrobat, events are called triggers.)
On Release
When the mouse button is released after a click. This is the most commonly used event, because it gives the user one last chance to drag the cursor off the button and not activate the action.
On Click
When the mouse button is clicked (without being released). Unless you have a specific reason for using On Click, it’s preferable to use On Release so that users have a chance to cancel the action.
On Roll Over
When the mouse pointer enters the button area defined by the button’s bounding box.
On Roll Off
When the mouse pointer exits the button area.
On Focus
When the button in a PDF file receives focus, either through a mouse action or pressing the Tab key.
On Blur
When the focus moves to a different button or form field in the PDF file.
Action types
When you create an action, you indicate what happens when the specified event occurs—usually when someone clicks the button. You can assign the following actions to occur when the event type is activated:
Go To Destination
Jumps to the specified text anchor created using the Bookmarks or Hyperlinks panel. See Create jumps to text anchors.
Go To First/Last/Next/Previous Page
Jumps to the first, last, previous, or next page in the fixed layout EPUB, PDF, or SWF file. Select an option from the Zoom menu to determine how the page is displayed.
Go To URL
Opens the web page of the specified URL.
Show/Hide Buttons
Toggles between showing and hiding specified buttons in the exported fixed layout EPUB, PDF, or SWF file. For example, if you want one button to appear when another button is moused over, you can hide the target button until it’s triggered and create an action that displays the hidden button on rollover. See Display a different button on rollover.
Video
Lets you play, pause, stop, or resume the selected movie. Only movies that have been added to the document appear in the Video menu.
Sound
Lets you play, pause, stop, or resume the selected sound clip. Only sound clips that have been added to the document appear in the Sound menu.
Animation (SWF/EPUB)
Lets you play, pause, stop, or resume to selected animation. Only animations that have been added to the document appear in the Animation menu.
Go To Page (SWF/EPUB)
Jumps to the page in the SWF file you specify.
Go To State (SWF/EPUB)
Jumps to a specific state in a multi-state object. For example, if a multi-state object includes several different images as states, you can use this action to display a particular image.
Go To Next/Previous State (SWF/EPUB)
Jumps to the next or previous state in a multi-state object. These options are especially useful for clicking through a slideshow. See Create multi-state objects.
Go To Next View (PDF)
Jumps to a page after going to the previous view. In the same way that a Forward button is available in a web browser only after someone clicks the Back button, this option is available only if the user has jumped to a previous view.
Go To Previous View (PDF)
Jumps to the most recently viewed page in the PDF document, or returns to the last used zoom size.
Open File (PDF)
Launches and opens the file that you specify. If you specify a file that is not PDF, the reader needs the native application to open it successfully. Specify an absolute pathname (such as C:\docs\sample.pdf).
View Zoom (PDF)
Displays the page according to the zoom option you specify. You can change the page zoom level (such as Actual Size), the page layout (such as Continuous - Facing), or the rotation orientation.
